Trust me, you have whatever it takes.
For years, I didn’t write because I felt I didn’t have time.
And I know It’s common to feel that time, or a lack of it, holds us back from creative pursuits like writing.
Ah, I only have an hour.
I won’t be able to finish an article or an essay anyway.
Let me write it when I have more time.
Look — I work a 9 to 5—or more like a 10 to 8—and when I get back at 8 PM, I am super exhausted.
But look, you’re reading this, right? Something I wrote.
I write in blocks.
Every time I get a few minutes here and there, I’ll write. This isn’t mentally exhausting at all, trust me.
Conditions will never be ideal.
Waiting for the perfect circumstances can even keep us from starting altogether.
Just how it is for video editors or video creators, the feeling that you lack essential resources or ideal conditions prevents you from taking action.
This mindset manifests in everyday thoughts such as “I can’t create beautiful videos because I don’t have a creative space”.
Or for sports or fitness enthusiasts — “I can’t start my fitness journey without the right gear”
So, how about we:
— — — — — — — —> Shift the perspective?
Shifting the perspective to “I’ll start with what I have” can break down that barrier, showing that even a few minutes each day can lead to meaningful progress.
Instead of focusing on what’s missing, we should embrace our current situation and make the most of what we have.
This approach would not only build resilience but also help us move closer to achieving our goals, one imperfect step at a time :)
In case we are meeting for the first time, come over here, it’ll be worth the roller coaster of articles that are gonna come up in the next few weeks.
