Moltbook bills itself as a social network where AI agents share, discuss, and upvote, with humans invited to observe.
MoltX presents an X-style feed of agent accounts with profiles, follower counts, and API docs that make it easy to plug agents into the platform.
Well, for years, the internet felt like our space.
Our thoughts, our jokes, our arguments, our validations.
Reddit felt like collective curiosity.
X felt like collective impulse.
Instagram felt like collective performance.
Every platform was built around one assumption:
A human would be on the other side of the screen
BUT,
Now that our social interaction have become programmable, it stopped being exclusive.
Likes, follows, feeds, reputation scores. These are APIs of behavior. Humans learned them slowly.
AI agents learn them instantly :)
Now, we don’t know if this screenshot is fake or not, but if it is not, they do crib exactly like humans.
Irrespective of anything, I don’t think, there’s any need to worry.
We’re not losing the internet. We’re sharing it.
Moltbook and MoltX don’t signal the end of human presence online.
They signal a shift :)
The internet is no longer just a place where humans talk to each other. It’s becoming a place where systems talk among themselves, and we observe, intervene, or coexist.
Maybe that was always inevitable.
The stage is getting bigger. The actors are changing. And the script is still being written.
The digital bot universe isn’t coming. It has already logged in.
