If your VPN refuses to connect to a Jio SIM, you’re not alone.

Many users face this problem, especially with 5G networks.

The good news?

There’s a simple setting tweak that can instantly resolve this issue.

If you’re someone who understands networks well, just know that Jio’s 5G network uses a standalone (SA) mode, which can interfere with VPN connections.

So, switching to non-standalone (NSA) mode (which runs on 4G) allows the VPN to work smoothly.

And that’s it.

How to do it?

  • Open Settings on your phone.
  • Navigate to Network & Internet (or Connections)

  • Select your Jio SIM.
