Step 1: Go to the Partner Program Page
Click on your profile icon and you can see a menu below:
Click on Partner Program.
Now, you will come to this page. Click Next.
If you land on this page:
Please write an article first, and get a medium membership.
Step 2: Go to Payout Settings
Once you click on the Partner Program link in the first step, It will land you on the page where you can see the Medium Partner Program Dashboard.
On this page, on the right-hand side-bar, you will see a section of Payout settings.
Click on Complete payout settings.
Step 3: Complete Payout Settings
On clicking the “Complete payout settings” button, you go to a new page:
On this screen, click on Connect Now.
Step 4: Connect to Stripe
Once you click on Connect Now, It will open a new page as shown below.
Select your country as INDIA from the drop-down. and, click Next.
Step 5: Continue with Stripe
Click on Continue with Stripe on the next screen.
Step 6: Set-up Stripe
This is where the actual stripe account setup process gets started:
Provide the same email address that you are using for your medium membership. Click on continue.
Then, provide your mobile number. and click on Continue.
Step 7: Verify your mobile number for the Stripe Account
Once you receive the verification code, please provide it on the below screen:
Step 8: Tell Us About Your Business
From the drop-down, select the individual if you’re just a writer on Medium, unless you own a company.
Step 9: Verify Your Personal Details
Provide your name (first and last name as per your bank account) and date of birth. Finally, click on continue.
Step 10: Add An Account For Payouts
Add your bank account details:
- IFSC code
- Account number
Step 11: Review And Submit
Review your details. And, click on Agree and submit.
