I feel incredibly happy today.
Today, I unlocked the 50-day badge on LeetCode.
I know - It’s not a big deal in the grand scheme of things :)
It is just a tiny orange badge sitting there quietly, as if saying , “Hey, you showed up.”
But honestly, it means something. For me.
Read for free here :)
I’ve had that stretch in life between April to September where I couldn’t even show up for myself.
The kind of days where even opening the laptop felt like too much. So these 50 days -they’re not about algorithms or data structures. They’re about showing up, even when I didn’t feel like it.
When I started, I told myself: One question a day. That’s it. No huge plan, no 10-hour grind sessions, no pretending to be in a movie montage. Just 50 minutes, one problem. Some days I solved it. Some days I didn’t. But I stayed.
And just for me to be real -I obsess over streaks. Like most of us. It became part of my day, like brushing my teeth. Everyday before sleeping. Small, consistent, and slightly boring which is probably the best consistency can get.
And in these small daily moments, something shifted.
I began to understand that this habit thing, it’s not about the big days when motivation is high. It’s about the random Tuesdays when everything feels meh, and you still open LeetCode because you promised yourself you would.
The best part?
The badge does not feels like a finish line.
It feels like a checkpoint. A quiet nod from the universe saying,
“Good, now keep going.”
I don’t have grand conclusions to offer, or perfect productivity hacks.
I’m still figuring things out like how to balance work, writing, fitness, and all the other stuff that somehow fits into 24 hours.
But maybe that’s what I want to do here :)
to just write about this journey as it unfolds.
Not your polished guide, not a “How I Cracked X” story, but the in-between part, you know.
The messy middle that never makes it to LinkedIn posts.
If you’ve ever struggled to stay consistent, or if you’re also somewhere between “trying” and “burned out,” maybe we can figure this out together.
So yeah, 50 days down. A small orange badge. A quiet smile.
And maybe, just maybe, the start of something I want to share more regularly.
Would you read that, btw?
